PAST PERFECT

We use ‘’Had + past participle verb form  with before+past simple sentence with You/We/They/I /He/She/It/Plural noun/Singular noun to talk about two actions that happened in the past. We use Had+past participle verb form to talk about the first action and past simple for the second action


Postive Sentences:       You/We/They/I/He/She/It/Plural noun/Singular noun+had+past participle before +past simple sentence


                                 You had come here before my friend came
                                  They had purchased before I called them
                                   I had had dinner before my father reached home
                                   We had washed clothes before we went there
                                    She had watched TV before she started reading


Negative Sentences:  You/We/They/I/He/She/It/Plural noun/Singular noun+ had not + past  participle verb form before + past simple sentence


                                 You had  not come here before my friend came
                                  They had not  purchased before I called them
                                   I had not  had dinner before my father reached home
                                   We had not  washed clothes before we went there
                                    She had not  watched TV before she started reading
